Biography and experience
Daniela is native to Mexico City. Having worked closely with children for over 12 years, she has abroad experience in childcare services.
She started babysitting and working as an entertainer at children’s parties when she was 15 years old. After finishing high school, at the age of 18, she worked for a year as an Au Pair (babysitter with cultural exchanges) through Cultural Care-EF, in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. There, she took care of three children, who became almost like her little siblings.
Then, she went back to Mexico where she eventually obtained her college degree on Fashion and Textile Design on CENTRO. During her college time, she kept working with children. She had a part time job as babysitter and entertainer at children’s parties.
Later, on May 2012, she moved permanently to Tulum, where she started working in hotels and tourist services.
Almost a year after that, she began working on private babysitting services. On January 2015, she started SITTERS OF THE CARIBBEAN. As CEO, she is now responsible of supervising the work of all the sitters in the agency, promoting the agency with different hotels, concierge services and travel agencies and occasionally babysitting. She is also involved in other tourism services and has temporarily left design as her hobby, while she focuses in her true passion: children.
